Product Mentor Coaching Education - MCS and Beyond Part 1 only

Beyond Compliance: Mentor Coaching Training for Quality, Rigour and Enjoyment

  • Designed for MCS applicants via the Credit for Prior Learning Path (20 hrs certificate) or for MCS Standard application who already have some synchronous MCE hours towards the required 20.5 synch MCE hours minimum. Part 1 offers a 20 hours MCE certificate - 10 hours synch and 10 hours asynch. 

  • For those who need the full 41+ hours for the MCS Standard application, Part 2 adds the extra hours, Those who complete Part 1 + Part 2 are issued with a 44 MCE hours certificate - 22 synch and 22 asynch. 

  • The curriculum design and course materials provide a synthesis of ICF mentor coaching requirements, mentor coaching competencies and resources - everything in one place

  • Activity based learning, reflective practice and deliberate practice  offer opportunities to review, refine and expand your mentor coaching style and services.

  • The certificate gives you credit for your work done outside of classes - eg reading of ICF documents, (re) designing your mentor coaching system

Structure and design: 

  • Part 1 has 5 modules and more than meets the 10 hours mentor coaching education requirement for MCS Credit for Prior Learning Application. You'll receive a certificate for 20 hours - 10 synch / real time and 10 asynch / self study. 

  • Each module requires participation in a two-hour class online via zoom. 

    If you have already completed some mentor coaching education towards the required 41 hours for the MCS Standard application pathway, Part 1 allows you to top up with 10 synch hours plus 10 asynch hours. 

    You may count 20.5 asynch hours or more for an MCS Standard application (50%) 
    You MUST have 20.5 synch hours for an MCS Standard application 

  • For those requiring the 41+ mentor coaching education hours required for the MCS Standard Application, register for both Part 1 + Part 2.

  • Friday cohort starts on 04 Sept 2026 - for 11 weeks. Time: 15.00-17.00 GMT+2 (South Africa - no time clock changes) 
  • Monday cohort starts on 07 Sept 2026 - for 11 weeks.  Time: 15.00-17.00 GMT+2 (South Africa - no time clock changes) 

    Payment Fees and T&Cs 

    • Part 1 only - pay in full before the start of the course - €450 (not subject to VAT)
      or
    • Part 1 only - deposit of €250 before the start of the course, and €225 at the start of the next calendar month (not subject to VAT)
